Wynn Presents 3x3 Greater Bay Area Tour 2024

Macao, September 9, 2024 — Wynn is pleased to announce that it will continue to sponsor the "Wynn Presents ─ 3x3 Greater Bay Area Tour 2024" which is jointly organized by the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government and StarMac Entertainment & Production Limited. The event will take place from October 11 to 13 in Macao, and the organizers held a press conference to announce the details of the event today. Wynn has always actively supported sports events with Macao characteristics and is proud to sponsor the basketball tournament again this year.

To commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China and the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of Macao Special Administration Region; showcase this milestone anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland with the Greater Bay Area (GBA) community, and promote sports in cities across the GBA region, this year's "Wynn Presents ─ 3x3 Greater Bay Area Tour 2024" will take place at several stops around the region including Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Hengqin, Guangzhou, and Macao from late September to October. The finals will ultimately take place from October 11 to 13 at the Ruins of St. Paul's and at Tap Seac Square in Macao.

Only men's events will be held at each stop in the GBA with a maximum of 32 teams permitted to register. The top three teams will automatically qualify for the men's finals. The finals are then divided into men's and women's matches. The maximum number of participating teams is 32 teams for the men's group and 16 teams for the women's group. In addition to the quotas for the men's group, the rest will be openly recruited together with the women's group. To attract participation, the event will award more than MOP 800,000 in bonuses and prizes to the top players.

Registration for all of the GBA regional events begins September 9, and the first event will take place on September 18. Open registrations for the men's group as well as the 16 teams for the women's group finals will begin on September 19 (Thursday). Interested teams can register online at: www.macao3x3basketball.com. Places are limited and only available on a first-come, first-served basis.
