The International Series Macau presented by Wynn concludes with Carlos Ortiz claiming victory
Macao, March 23, 2025 – The International Series Macau presented by Wynn concluded successfully on March 23 at the Macau Golf and Country Club. Mexico's Carlos Ortiz emerged as the champion after closing with a six-under-par 64 to finish on 22-under, earning the championship trophy and a prize of US$360,000. The highly anticipated US$2 million tournament is the second stop of the Asian Tour International Series, attracting 17 LIV golf stars, including three major champions alongside the cream of the Asian Tour.
With the victory, Carlos Ortiz also booked his place at The Open in July this year, alongside runner up Patrick Reed and Jason Kokrak in third place, with the second elevated tournament of 10 on the Asian Tour calendar offering three spots on the fourth major of the 2025 season as an Open Qualifying Series event.
The champion trophy presentation for The International Series Macau presented by Wynn was held this afternoon (March 23) at Macau Golf and Country Club. The event was attended by honorable guests, including the champion of the International Series Macau presented by Wynn, Mexican golfer Carlos Ortiz, Ms. Linda Chen, President, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited, Mr. Cho Minn Thant, Commissioner & CEO, Asian Tour, Mr. Rahul Singh, Head of The International Series, Mr. Eddie Li, General Manager of the Macau Golf and Country Club, Mr. Frederic Luvisutto, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited, and Mr. Craig Fullalove, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Wynn Macau, Limited.
