Wynn Supports Welfare Shop Project of Macau Holy House of Mercy for The Eleventh Consecutive Year

Wynn volunteers distribute food baskets to 372 underprivileged families

Macau, October 14, 2023 ─ Wynn has always regarded community care as its core value, through actively supporting and participating in various charitable and public welfare activities, giving love and care to the underprivileged. This year, Wynn has continued its support by donating MOP300,000 to the Welfare Shop Project of Macau Holy House of Mercy (SCMM), and sponsoring the distribution of food baskets to 372 underprivileged families. The purposeful SCMM Welfare Shop Project has been supported by Wynn for eleven consecutive years.

Ms. Linda Chen, President and Vice Chairman of the Board of Wynn Macau, Limited, presented the MOP300,000 donation cheque to SCMM at the donation ceremony, and was received by Mr. António José de Freitas, President of the Board of Trustees of SCMM. The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Manuel Gonçalves Pires Júnior, Member of the Board of Trustees of SCMM, Ms. Gisela Nunes, Secretary General of SCMM, Ms. Ng Sio Lai, President of the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macau, Mr. Fong Ka Fai, Vice President of the Macao Federation of Trade Unions, Ms. Jasmine Cheong, Vice President of Community and Government Relations of Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace and Mr. Raymond Lei, Assistant Vice President of Community and Government Relations of Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace.

Adhering to the company's mission of giving back to society, 30 Wynn volunteers distributed food baskets containing food and daily necessities to 372 underprivileged families at the (SCMM), in hopes of easing the burden that they are facing in daily life. In addition, Wynn also delivered a multi-purpose shopping trolley, designed by Wynn and equipped with a heat preservation function, and a supermarket cash voucher worth MOP100 as a token of appreciation to each beneficiary family.

Founded in 2013, the Welfare Shop Project of Macau Holy House of Mercy (SCMM) aims to alleviate the financial burdens brought by inflation on underprivileged families by providing short-term food assistance. Wynn has continuously supported the operation of the Welfare Shop by donating money or supplies since its establishment, aspiring to provide support to the disadvantaged communities through tangible actions, benefiting more people in need.
