Wynn and Chopard Present an Exclusive Diamond Afternoon Tea
 
Macau, July 27, 2018 – Wynn and Swiss luxury jeweler Chopard, are partnering to present a stylish and elegant “Chopard Diamond Afternoon Tea”, giving guests an opportunity to experience a delightfully dedicated Chopard-inspired, afternoon tea at Wynn Palace Cotai and Wynn Macau.
 
Executive Pastry Chef Yoann Mathy has specially created an afternoon tea inspired by the craftsmanship of Chopard. He meticulously handcrafted a dazzling range of desserts featuring Chopard iconic creations: the Happy Sport Collection, which celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year; the colorful Happy Hearts collection, Dazzling Chopard diamonds, and the Palme d’Or,  precious award designed by Chopard to honor the best in film at the Cannes International Film Festival. Guests are welcome to experience the limited-edition Chopard Diamond Afternoon Tea Set from August 1 to October 7 at Fontana Buffet at Wynn Palace Cotai and Café Esplanada at Wynn Macau.
 
The intricately designed HAPPY SPORT Hazelnut Gianduja Shortbread represents the Chopard Happy Sport collection and is inspired by the Happy Palm, a new and exclusive watch that pays tribute to the Cannes International Film Festival. For the Happy Palm, Chef Yoann uses white chocolate as the surface of the watch, and adds the signature gold palm leaf along with five, moving precious ‘diamonds’ that are made of white chocolate and covered in a shiny, silver powder for a glittering effect.
 
Exquisitely created by Chef Yoann HAPPY HEARTS Blackcurrant Macaroon and HAPPY HEARTS Yuzu Macaroon accentuate the hearts element of the Happy Heart collection. These heart-shaped desserts are both sweet and sour, with the sweet from the blackcurrant and the sour from the Japanese grapefruit. He has also designed a HAPPY HEARTS Chocolate and Coffee Cake, adding the brand’s latest Happy Twist bangle on top of the cake. Each end of the bangle is set with one heart shape.
 
The pièce de résistance of the afternoon tea is the PALME D’OR Vanilla Cheesecake. In 1998, Chopard redesigned and crafted the Palme d’Or, the most prestigious award for the Cannes International Film Festival.  Having inspired by the award, Chef Yoann has handcrafted this dessert to the minutest detail, showcasing the exquisite palm leaf atop a smooth and delicate vanilla cheesecake.
 
Drawing on inspiration from Chopard’s dazzling diamonds, Chef Yoann has also created a CHOPARD DIAMONDS Raspberry, Mango and Coconut Chocolate that is strikingly eye-catching with a diamond-shaped white chocolate as the main focal point.
 
To balance all of these indulgent sweet flavors with a sprinkle of savory, Chef Yoann has also prepared Foie Gras and Truffle Gold Leaf, Mini Scallop Quiche and Caviar, Lobster Avocado Salad on Soft Roll and more.
 
Throughout the promotion period, guests of Chopard will be able to experience Chopard-inspired spa treatments and receive a special gift. It features “Luxe Diamond Experience” and “Gold and Caviar Experience” at The Spa at Wynn Palace and The Spa at Encore. Guests who stay at Fountain Salon suites at Wynn Palace and Grand Salon Suites at Encore on specified dates will also be able to enjoy the afternoon tea and spa experience sponsored by Chopard.
