Wynn organizes group vaccination sessions for team members
More than 1,700 team members and their families have been vaccinated
Macau, June 17, 2021 – To proactively support the Macau SAR government's pandemic prevention work, following two vaccine seminars that Wynn recently hosted for its team members, the company invited medical personnel from the Health Bureau to set up a Vaccination Center at the Grand Theater Ballroom at Wynn Palace from June 15 to 17, providing a vaccination service for team members and their families. Appointments for the three-day period were rapidly filled, with more than 1,700 people having registered to get vaccinated.
To encourage team members and their families to get vaccinated promptly, Wynn has organized a series of road show promotions and lucky draw activities that took place in the back-of-house areas in the past few weeks. The event drew a positive response from team members, leading to all appointments for the three-day vaccination outreach program being fully booked within a short period of time. In addition, Wynn also provided special shuttle bus services to and from Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace for the added convenience of team members and their families. Team members who have completed the vaccination will be entitled to two days of special leave, which they can take either on the day of vaccination or the following day in order to ensure that they can get adequate rest.
With the ongoing development of the pandemic situation in neighboring areas, increasing the vaccination rate in Macau is the key to building herd immunity and so reduce the risk of local transmission. As such, Wynn will continue to support the pandemic prevention guidelines and policies of the SAR government as well as implement the related measures, while also encouraging team members and the general public to get vaccinated as soon as possible. By doing so, society can work together to build herd immunity to protect the health and safety of individuals, their families and the community.
