Macau, December 18, 2017 – Wynn has always been committed to supporting senior employees to demonstrate their strengths and capabilities in different roles at work. To further recognize their outstanding performance, four local senior employees were nominated to participate in the "Excellence Award for the Best Senior Employees" co-organized by the Social Welfare Bureau (ISA) and Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL). One of the nominees was even honored as one of the ten Best Senior Employees, his proud achievement serving as encouragement to others.
With over a hundred senior employees being nominated in the scheme, the four outstanding Wynn employees, Loi Tin Lek from the Floral department, U Weng Chon from the Public Area department, Liu Zonghui from the Public Attractions department and Cheong Tong Sio from the Stewards department, were among the top 20 nominees with the highest ratings during the preliminary assessment stage. In the final stage of the assessment, U Weng Chon particularly stood out and was elected one of ten Best Senior Employees.
U Weng Chon was later invited to attend the "Excellence Award for the Best Senior Employees" award ceremony, where certificates of appreciation were presented in recognition of the outstanding performances by the winning employees. U has been with Wynn for over ten years and he is currently working as a Public Area Cleaner at Wynn Macau. Apart from his distinguished teamwork, he has performed his job efficiently and with a high degree of professional expertise over the years.
The "Excellence Award for the Best Senior Employees" aims to recognize the outstanding work performance by senior employees, as well as encouraging employers and society to better understand and appreciate the capability of senior employees. The ten Best Senior Employees were selected by the judging panel, based on the judging criteria including the employees' performance, personal achievements, contributions to society, etc.
