Wynn takes part in National Security Education Exhibition for the third consecutive year
Dedicated to promoting national security education
Macau, April 15, 2021 – In order to raise awareness of the importance of safeguarding national security among team members, and to support the Macao SAR government in efforts to promoting a better understanding of national security education, Ms. Linda Chen, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau Limited, led 50 management team members from 11 different departments of Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace to visit the "National Security Education Exhibition" on its opening day.
Wynn has participated in the "National Security Education Exhibition" for three consecutive years since 2019, and has arranged for team members to learn about the overall outlook for national security as well as the work and achievements in safeguarding national security being done by all sectors of Macau. The exhibition features pictures supplemented by text descriptions and videos, allowing the public to understand from different angles the extraordinary history of the country and Macau in safeguarding national sovereignty, security and development interests amid the current internal and external security situation.
Maintaining national security is the responsibility of all sectors, and the prosperity and stability of the country and Macau society are inseparable. Rooted in Macau, Wynn fully understands its obligations in helping to maintain the stability and safety of the country and cooperates to assist in further implementing the promotion of national security education. At the same time, Wynn is also committed to making positive contributions to push forward the development of Macau.
The "National Security Education Day" takes place on April 15 each year. The "National Security Education Exhibition", jointly organized by the Macao SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR, was opened on April 15 this year at the Commercial and Trade Cooperation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.
