"Wynn Local SME Network" Officially Launched

Scheme enhances prioritizing local procurement, creating more opportunities for local micro enterprises, "Made in Macao" and young entrepreneurs

Macau, September 26, 2017 – Wynn Resorts (Macau) S.A. today again partnered with the Macao Chamber of Commerce to organize the "Wynn Local SME Procurement Partnership Program 2017 - Business Matching Session for Micro Enterprises, "Made in Macao" and Young Entrepreneurs" and to announce the launch of "Wynn Local SME Network". The officiating ceremony was held at 10am today in the Grand Ballroom of Wynn Macau. The event attracted overwhelming support, and was attended by 285 representatives from local SMEs.

At the business matching session, Wynn arranged for supervisors from the procurement department to meet with all local SME representatives, enabling them to introduce themselves and discuss individually to increase the chances of successful business cooperation. For the first time Wynn leveraged the online business matching service platform of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) to conduct registrations for the business matching session, and over 80% of attendees used this platform. Through this system, local SMEs can receive news about business matching sessions organized by different companies, as well as details and invitations for business meetings and exhibitions. This not only elevates the electronic development of procurement collaboration, but more importantly, will help to create more business opportunities in the future.

At the same time, Wynn announced today the official launch of the "Wynn Local SME Network". Ms. Linda Chen, President and Executive Director of Wynn Resorts (Macau) S.A., said at the event, "Launching the "Wynn Local SME Network" aims to effectively link up the power of different sectors to construct a network for local micro enterprises and SMEs, by leveraging collaborative support from the Macau SAR Government, chambers of commerce and local communities to further facilitate the development of local SMEs".
