Macau, March 14, 2024 – The International Series has underscored its commitment to inclusivity and the development of golf globally with a charitable contribution of US$25,000 to Macau Special Olympics (MSO), and a special golf clinic for its athletes on the sidelines of the International Series Macau presented by Wynn. Asian Tour stars Berry Henson and Ben Leong attended the clinic at the Golf Village on the South Lawn at Wynn Palace today (Mar 14), where they shared tips and insights for the 20 MSO athletes around technique and what it takes to succeed in the game. Wynn hopes to further encourage social inclusion in sports and help athletes with disabilities reach their full potential through this charitable endeavor.

Attending guests include Siu Yu Hong, National Director of Macau Special Olympics; Linda Chen, President, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited; Asian Tour golf stars Berry Henson and Ben Leong; and Mo Huilan, World Champion and Olympic Silver Medalist in Gymnastics.

Rahul Singh, Head of The International Series, said: "The International Series plays an important role in the wider golf ecosystem, and part of that is supporting our host communities. Our contribution to the Macau Special Olympics is part of an inclusive commitment that will help in the development of golf and sport in the region across the entire community, bringing golf to a wider demographic and unlocking the potential of untapped talent in the region."

Leung Sio In, a Macau Special Olympics athlete, said: "I really enjoyed the clinic – the advice we received from the players was invaluable, and it is interesting to understand what is needed to make it as a professional at the pinnacle of the sport."

Asian Tour star Henson said: "Wow, that was fun. There are a lot of talented kids out there, and it was great to spend some time with them and try to help them develop their game. It's always enjoyable to spend some time with the wider community, and I hope some of these talented athletes can take something away of value that will help their game."
