Wynn receives ten awards at Vocational Skills Competition

Macau, April 19, 2021 – Wynn once again participated in the third edition of the "Macao Integrated Tourism and Leisure Enterprise Vocational Skills Competition" co-organised by the Labour Affairs Bureau and the Macao Federation of Trade Unions, held on April 14-15 this year. Thanks to the excellent performances by team members and their cohesive teamwork, Wynn won a total of ten awards, including Gaming & Entertainment: Champion (Individual) and Second Runner-up (Group) in Calculation, Runner-up (Group) in Chipping, Gold with Distinction (Group) in Game Rules & Customer Service; Hotel Services: Gold Award (Group) and Most Attentive Award in Housekeeping, and Gold Award (Group) in Property Services; Gastronomy: Gold Award (Group) and Best Dessert in Western Culinary, and Gold Award (Group) in F&B Service.

Wynn has taken part in the competition since 2019, making this the third consecutive year. This year, 23 team members from gaming, F&B, housekeeping, and facilities departments teamed up to take part, exchanging ideas and competing alongside more than 100 industry peers in three separate contests, namely "Gaming and Entertainment Professional Skills Competition", "Hotel Services Professional Skills Competition" and "Gastronomy Professional Skills Competition".

Wynn has continued to make a concerted effort in cultivating local talents. Through a wide range of active training methods, the company is committed to nurturing future professionals for the industry and so build a solid foundation for the development of Macau as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure. During the competition, Wynn's team members also demonstrated their excellent professional skills, reflecting the depth of the company's investment and achievements in employee development.
