This year, Wynn has maintained its support of the Welfare Shop Project of Macau Holy House of Mercy (SCMM) through a donation of MOP $300,000, as well as sponsoring the distribution of food hampers to 375 underprivileged families. This marks ten consecutive years of Wynn contributing to this meaningful operation of the SCMM Welfare Shop Project.

Ms. Linda Chen, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited, presented the MOP $300,000 donation cheque to Mr. António José de Freitas, President of the Board of Trustees of SCMM. The ceremony was also graced by Ms. Gisela Nunes, Secretary General of SCMM; Mr. Chan Ka Leong, President of the Board of Directors of General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macau (UGAMM); Mr. Sam Iat Kuong, Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Macau Federation of Trade Unions (FAOM); Mr. Thomas Lau, Vice President of Human Resources of Wynn Palace; and Mr. Raymond Lei and Ms. Jasmine Cheong, Assistant Vice President of Community and Government Relations of Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace.

Wynn has a long history of giving back to the community. This year, about 35 Wynn volunteers distributed 375 food baskets containing food and daily necessities to underprivileged families at the Welfare Shop Project of Macau Holy House of Mercy (SCMM) on October 12 and 13 to help address their day-to-day needs. In addition, Wynn also provided each beneficiary family with a convenient and versatile shopping trolley, designed by Wynn with heat preservation function, and a supermarket cash voucher worth MOP $100 as a token of appreciation.

Founded in 2013, the Welfare Shop Project of Macau Holy House of Mercy (SCMM) aims to alleviate the financial burdens brought by inflation on underprivileged families by providing short-term food assistance. Wynn has donated a total of MOP $2.9 million to the Welfare Shop since its establishment, continuing to help subsidize the operation of the Welfare Shop so as to benefit more people in need in the community.
